Which Program is Right for You?
Pathways has multiple programs to meet the needs of students. Read about the programs below to start your journey to determine which program works for you.
Traditional Diploma Program
The Traditional Diploma Program is designed to help support students acquire the 23 credits needed to earn a Pathways Futures Center Diploma. These are the same requirements as our traditional high schools in Adams 12 Five Star Schools with one exception. To graduate from Pathways, students must complete the Graduation Tool Kit. This project is designed to help you examine your past, your present and to develop a plan for your future. Students who apply to this program are typically 17 - 21 years old who come to us with 15 or more credits. To enroll in this program, please attend one of our Information Sessions.
Competency-Based Diploma Program
The Competency-Based Diploma Program (CBD) is not based on a credit system like our traditional program. The CBD is based on your ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills by passing three courses, passing eight WorkKeys tests, and completing the Graduation Tool Kit. Students who apply to this program are typically 18 - 21 years old who come to us with less than 10 credits. To enroll in this program, please attend one of our Information Sessions.
Extensions Program (Credit Recovery)
The Extensions Program is for students who attend school in one of Adams 12 Five Star Schools' high schools and wish to earn credit by taking evening courses. This program is intended for recovering credit to ensure that students can graduate on time from their home high school. To enroll in this program, please see your high school counselor, and complete a registration form. You do not need to attend one of our Information Sessions.
