Edith Wharton summed up my intention at Pathways well when she said “There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.” I’m a “mirror” kind of person and always have been. My professional journey has taken me from working in Larimer County Corrections, to medical publishing, to training corporate employees, to teaching all levels in public education as a highly qualified educator in Elementary Education, Secondary Science, Secondary English, and Consumer and Family Science. I hope to ignite a passion for literacy by supporting students as they achieve their goals.
I’m a native to this area and have lived here all my life. My children graduated from Adams 12 schools. When I’m not working with students, you can find me reading or listening to a book, watching a movie, traveling, spending time with my family, or out enjoying our community.
